2. Using the real IPX protocol If your software needs to send/receive real IPX frames, for example, because it talks to an old piece of equipment that only understands IPX, install WinPcap and enable the 'Send and receive real IPX packets' option.

Right click your LAN adapter connection, click 'install', 'protocol', 'Add', Do not select the IPX that is already in the list, be sure to select 'have disk'. Navigate to 'c: temp' and select file 'netnwlnk.inf', now select 'WLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS'. You will get a warning it's not verifyable, install.

What's new

The Microsoft Windows* download package has been split into a driver package and an Intel® PROSet package. The driver package must be installed prior to installing the Intel® PROSet package.
